The Best Attraction in America Tournament

In March 2010, Theme Park Insider readers will vote to select the best of the best in theme park industry.

Readers will select the best themed ride, best roller coaster, best live show and best multimedia show from among the 64 top-rated attractions in Theme Park Insider's ongoing reader ratings. Voting will be in a head-to-head, single-elimination tournament, with 16 attractions of each type in the four classes.

The best themed ride and roller coaster will then face off for the title of Best Ride in America, while the best live show and multimedia show face off for the title of Best Theme Park Show in America. Those winners will then go up against each other for the Best Theme Park Attraction in America crown.

Starting in January 2010, ThemeParkInsider.com will present daily feature profiles of each of the 64 nominated attractions, including descriptions, photos, interviews and video, leading up to the tournament voting.

Previous tournaments

In 2008 and 2009, Theme Park Insider conducted annual 'Best Ride in America' tournaments.

In the 2009 tournament, readers selected Revenge of the Mummy from Universal Studios Florida as the 2009 tournament champion.

In the 2008 tournament, readers selected Twilight Zone Tower of Terror at Disney's Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World as the best ride in America.
