This year's Howl-O-Scream will feature six haunted houses and five shows. The theme for the Howl-O-Scream this year is “The Scare is Everywhere”. There are no separate scare zones, as the entire park is considered a scare zone this year.
Busch Gardens will continue to offer the Howl-O-Scream quick queue. You can get either a one-time use (per attraction) quick queue ($24.95 per person) or the unlimited quick queue for the entire day ($39.95 per person). You must specify the date of the quick queue if you purchase it online.
Busch Gardens Williamsburg rates each of the Howl-O-Scream attractions using a pumpkin scale. The pumpkin rating scale goes from one to five pumpkins. Here is a listing and definition of each of the ratings (these are the definitions set by Busch Gardens). Busch Gardens has also designated some shows as “Kidsiderate”, meaning that the show is meant for all ages.
One Pumpkin = Good fun for everyone
