Texas Giant

The current version of this description is at Texas Giant.

The Texas Giant closed at the end of 2009, to be rebuilt for the 2011 season in a $10 million upgrade.

The roller coaster's original wooden tracks will be replaced with steel tracks, which will be fitted to the ride's original wooden support structure.

The new Iron Horse Coaster track will offer a 79-degree drop and 95-degree banked turn. The coaster will also be 10 feet taller and run faster than before. -- Last edited by Robert Niles on April 22, 2011
