On-ride photos coming to Pirates of the Caribbean

June 15, 2017, 1:35 PM

Starting next Monday, June 19, Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom will add an on-ride photo option at the Pirates of the Caribbean ride.

With Disney pushing its all-inclusive Memory Maker option to resort visitors, adding on-ride photos to another popular ride helps make that package more attractive to would-be buyers. Memory Maker allows customers unlimited downloads of photos taken by Disney's PhotoPass photographers, as well as on-ride photos - which end up in your account automatically when you are wearing a MagicBand linked to a Memory Maker account.

This will be the 10th WDW attraction to offer on-ride photos. For the complete list, as well as more information about PhotoPass and Memory Maker, see our Let Disney Take Your Photos, with Disney's PhotoPass and Memory Maker page.

What's your favorite on-ride photo?

Going to assume the camera will be placed on the drop. On ride photos are really only fun when the riders look excited. There's not a lot of other places on POTC that would inspire excited expressions.

Shrug,

If Frozen Ever After can have one, anybody could have one.

DLP's POTC has had the photo opportunity for quite awhile.
