These latest box office results will influence the customers that visit the theme parks. It seems like Universal made the correct bet to install the Transformers with its continuing popularity that might mitigate Avatar in the future as we already know China was Avatar's biggest audience in the international market.
Now Maleficent is more popular than Frozen in Japan. This happened so soon after Frozen smashed previous records. There's no doubt that Frozen is still very popular, but its like things change just as quickly.

Alls Maleficent did was manage to get to the top of the box office. Not top Frozen's gross, nor will it even come close.
