If this drone video, posted this week, really reflects a current view of the Shanghai Disneyland project, well, a lot of work remains to be done for its announced 2016 opening.
The park originally was said to open in late 2015, but Disney moved that back into next year. You can see the expected lineup of attractions on our Shanghai Disneyland page.

So is the Castle actually going to have a dark/boat style ride? Do we know any details or story lines surrounding the other newer rides yet?

I'm not sure how much more of these drone videos will be allowed to be filmed. If one of those were to hit something and land on someone, the park would probably be held responsible if the drone's owner goes unidentified.
