Tokyo Space Mountain reopens

2007-04-29

By John Quinteros: After being closed for more than 5 months, Space Mountain at Tokyo Disneyland reopened on April 27, 2007. MintCrocodile has submitted a video on youtube showcasing the ride.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE VIDEO IS VERY DARK.

The ride has been given some updating on the rockets, lift hills, the main ride itself (I think), and the rockets. The rockets however, still do not have a sound system. With this upgrade, every Space Mountain around the world has been given a refurbisment...well, except for Walt Disney World's.

I hope the only refurbishments of WDW's space is just a small one. I love that Space Mountain, and I hope they keep it as is. Just re-track it, but same layout. Maybe soundtrack, and maybe new cars, but the layout is great. I love that there are differences between rides, and I don't want the same clone of Space Mountain at every theme park.
