Griffon begins 'soft openings'

Busch Gardens Europe's Griffon which has apparently been testing with park employees, finally opened "softly" to the public on Mother's Day! Unadvertised, many surprised guests got a chance to experience the world's tallest and at least for a short time only floorless in the world! I had a chance to ride and it truly was a great ride! And is expected, the ride area is up to Busch's usual high standards! Great job BGE!

The media unveiling is the 16th and Busch is doing a webcast of the event. www.buschgardens.com

Copy cats...pure and simple. And in four weeks, SheiKra will be floorless, too. Coaster envy is an ugly thing...

Cop cats? Both parks are owned by the same company.

IOACentral Radio is going to be there this morning, in about an hour. So if you see two fat guys from Florida shivering because of the cold 65 degree weather, that would be us.

Looks like I'm not going to make it back to BGW this season, have to wait 'til next year :(

It's official. Griffon now opens this weekend. :)

Here is an email I got from BGE when I asked if the sneak peek weekend was for passmembers only:
