WDW Employees to Get Onsite Health Care Facility

December 12, 2007, 1:18 PM · Disney announced this morning that they will be building an on site medical facility for their employees. The new 15,000 sqare foot facility, which will be located behind Epcot, will provide primary care medical services, as well as lab, radiology, and pharmacy services to Disney employees enrolled in one of the company health plans. According to the article, the new facility is slated to open sometime in 2008 or 2009. Construction hasn't begun yet.

December 12, 2007 at 3:01 PM · I'm surprised they didn't already have something like this. Where I work (Sprint) has facilities like this at both the Kansas City and Virginia headquarters. The square footage is smaller in both cases but we have 1/3 of the employees. It's hard to tell from that article, but it looks like what I have access to may provide more services as well.
