Worker dies on ride at Six Flags Great America
By Robert Niles A 46-year-old worker died Tuesday morning after falling from the Splash Waterfalls ride at Six Flags Great America, in Gurnee, Illinois.According to a news report, Thomas Lee of Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin was working for a contractor hired to dismantle the ride when he fell. He was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. OSHA is investigating.
