I will post the seeded brackets tomorrow, with voting starting Monday. The first round will continue Tuesday, with the quarterfinals on Wednesday, the semifinals on Thursday and the finals Friday.

Here's what I need from you, dear Theme Park Insider readers. I need your personal recollections and descriptions of these rides (even if it's just a line or two), along with any JPG photos of them that you might have and be willing to e-mail me.

Please e-mail your recollections, descriptions and photos to graveyard [at] themeparkinsider.com and I will include as many as I can in the tournament, to help other readers decide for which attractions to vote.

Thanks to everyone who submitted a nomination, and I'm looking forward to another great tournament!

May 3, 2008 at 6:54 PM · I hadn't even thought to nominate Soap Box Racers. That was my first coaster! I'm happy with those nominees, just wish the Orient Express had made the list. It probably would have lost in the first round, but you can't blame the KC folk for trying.
May 3, 2008 at 7:46 PM · I guess I was the only one who nominated Ghostbusters and Hanna-Barbera:(. I should've nominated the Chiller.
May 3, 2008 at 8:43 PM · Attractions pretty much needed double-digit nominations to make the field. I thought about going with a 32-entry tournament, adding another round, but the seeds between 22 and 32 got pretty lame, so I decided this time to go with the stronger top-to-bottom field and limit it to 16.
May 3, 2008 at 10:33 PM · Danny, I nominated Ghostbusters too so ur not alone there. But everything else i nominated got in mostly. Im happy that Drachen Fire got in to represent virginia.
May 4, 2008 at 6:11 PM · I should have gone with the newly-dead Racer - backwards car at Kings Island near Cincinnati (my first favorite coaster; I was afraid of the Beast the first few years I rode it as a kid).
