There's a new addition to Miniland at Legoland California, but it will be there only from Friday, Jan. 16 through Memorial Day.

Yep, it's the Presidential inauguration of Barack Obama.

The inauguration scene will be placed on the steps of the Miniland U.S. Capitol and will include Obama and his family, Joe Biden, Bush, Cheney and other participants, including Rick Warren, Itzhak Perlman and the U.S. Marine Corps Band, according to a Legoland press release.

Be sure to check out the crowd, too. Legoland promises that a Lego Oprah Winfrey will be among the assembled onlookers.

Well, then, be sure to send your specs to Legoland so that they can make a Lego figure to represent you, too! :-)

Gotta agree with you, Robert - I also love Legoland's attitude.

You know what... somehow that actually looks like the Obama girls! Very fun. You can even see Bush's red tie and Michelle Obama's signature red dress. Legoland rocks.

this is quite cool. I love all the lego creations especially at WDW

That is pretty cool...although I suspect that the honeymoon will not last much longer.

Seriously though, you gotta be nuts to get in the middle of that mess. Better go to the bathroom first....5000 toilets for a couple million people could spell trouble.
