Six Flags to hold 2nd Annual Walk in the Parks Event Across the USBy Anthony Murphy
Six Flags is holding their second annual Walk in the Parks to raise money for Cure Kids Cancer. Cure Kids Cancer is an organization that works with local children's hospitals around the United States to raise money for pediatric cancer research. This year, the Cancer Walk will be taking place earlier than last year. It will take place at the following Six Flags Parks: Over Georgia, SF America, Fiesta Texas, New England, Great Adventure, Great Escape, Magic Mountain, Over Texas, Discovery Kingdom, Great America (Chicago), and SF St. Louis. I did it last year and I am going to do it this year. It was a really good time and it looks like they got many of the problems out from last year by not putting it on later in the season (so it closed early), on a Sunday, and during the High School Cheerleading Compettion.
