Are you sure this wasn't taken at Comic-Con? From Fher Escobar on September 1, 2009 at 4:23 PM
Jaja Funny! This looks like Universal Studios! Hey quick question see if you can answer it. I know that universal studios has the right to the MARVEL characters in orlando but not in california (as i understand). What does this mean to all the Marvel Stuff at Universal Studios Hollywood??? LOL, we are milking it for all its worth! From Phil Beska on September 1, 2009 at 8:00 PM
Hopefully if there ever is a Marvel presence in a Disney Parade, these costumes never see the light of day in any of the WDW parks. The Star Wars characters are pretty top notch for the SW Weekends, and any other time you catch a Jedi Training Academy Show. Hopefully this trend continues with the Marvel brand, and even if a hero has yet to have a movie out, they can at least do it better justice then these off the rack adult Halloween costumes sported in this pic. I saw an article somewhere commenting on what the Disney purchase would mean for Disney's interest in the Busch Garden's properties. I've also read speculation of Disney doing their "Disney's America" at Busch Gardens-Williamsburg. I'm curious what the experts here think of this? From Robert Niles on September 1, 2009 at 9:34 PM
Disney just spent its cash for a big acquisition. Now it is Universal's turn. We'll see if the rumor of Blackstone (Universal's investment partner in Universal Orlando) joining with the Busch family to buy the Busch theme parks, with a Universal assist, turns out to be true. I can see it now... X-Men Origins: Tinkerbell! From Steve Assad on September 2, 2009 at 9:59 AM
I have heard that Disney has purchased the MARVEL Comics, I wonder what will happen to the Islands of Adventure part in Orlando? From 12.96.20.2 on September 2, 2009 at 12:41 PM
Universal says they will maintain the Marvel accents as long as they want. I'm curious if Disney will incorporate Marvel into the parks or if it is only a movie thing.
