Disney has released a couple of photos of the almost completed Space Mountain.

It looks pretty exciting and Disney seems to be putting some games in line to pass the time. Seems like a new pattern and it looks like they are expecting big lines.

I wonder if this is a start of a new Tomorrowland theme. Its looking a bit more retro than the steampunk-ish version.

That's all well and good... but please just make it dark inside the mountain again. I hate being able to see the track as it really minimizes the thrill.

Yeah.. darker and more quiet is what I'm hoping for. I don't want music blasting in my ears. Just eering silence broken only by joyful screams..

Agreed with the dark and quiet. Despite that the track layout is marginal, Space Mountain scares the hell out of some people just by maintaining a dark aura and stars that seem to nearly collide with your vehicle.

From what I've seen and read, the switchback queues right before loading are now covered instead of open. So, it should still be dark, and hopefully quieter.
