March 23, 2010 at 11:15 AM · Although I have never been on Hulk, X2 is my favorite roller coaster... From the super intense drop, to the flipping in many various direction. X2 is not only my favorite roller coaster, but the most intense one I've seen.

I definately think that X2 deserves to move to the next round.

March 23, 2010 at 11:15 AM · X2 is a game changer. Extremely intense and out of control, it never lets up. As of late it has been extremely smooth, and I honestly can not ask for more than that. It's the perfect roller coaster, while Hulk looks nice but not out of this world great.
March 23, 2010 at 11:30 AM · Unfortunately Hulk will win this one as more people have been to IOA and on the Hulk, then SFMM and X(2). Out of the launch -barell roll, Hulk is your typical B&M sitdown. The one element doesnt = an entire experience that X brings.
March 23, 2010 at 11:34 AM · X2 is easily one of the most innovative coasters ever created. Since it opened, nothing has even come close to match it's ingenuity. Sadly, I think the Universal fans will win out o this one.
March 23, 2010 at 12:16 PM · My vote goes to X2. Hulk's only unique quality is the launch, after that it's purely off the shelf B&M elements. Fun...sure, best coaster? no. I think it's a bit overrated because it resides in Universal Studios.

X2 gets my vote because it's unique and fun. With all these contests I ask myself one question. Which ride would you rather have in your park? My answer to that question in this case is X2.

March 23, 2010 at 12:48 PM · The Hulk is a great ride but there is NOTHING like X2. Nothing!
March 23, 2010 at 1:30 PM · This is another one where I'd say it's East Coast bias causing Hulk to win. Sad to see X2 fall because more people have been to IOA than SFMM. I've never been to IOA, but I guess the voting could have been flipped around if this was a West Coast heavy website?
March 23, 2010 at 1:56 PM · I agree that X2 is a unique, innovative coaster, and should move forward past Hulk (despite my bias for all things Orlando). Someone should rally the Six Flags troops on Twitter and Facebook (I don't have good access at work - and it will be too late once I get home).
March 23, 2010 at 2:32 PM · I have a soft spot for Hulk - it was my first B&M.
March 23, 2010 at 3:04 PM · I have to wonder... if X2 were at IOA and Hulk at SFMM, would the results have been the same?

C'mon people, visit us on the west coast sometime! :-)

March 23, 2010 at 3:49 PM · I'm new here, but I do think considering all the comments were positive for X2 but Hulk won by a landslide, USO really got out the casual and/or non-TPI member vote.
