March 30, 2010 at 11:03 AM · This is a tough one. These are the two absolute best 3D shows out there, and I enjoy each in their own right.

Immediately, my instinct was for T2: 3D, but then I thought about the amount of times I've witnessed problems with the live elements.

On the other hand, It's Tough to be a Bug may have less impressive audience immersion, but delivers such a tightly knit and hilarious package that it's hard to resist.

Both always put a smile on my face. I need to contemplate for a few hours before I can vote.

March 30, 2010 at 11:16 AM · Tough choice, but I went with Ah-nold.
March 30, 2010 at 11:38 AM · Tough To Be A bug. To close to call. But Bug is more entertaiing and family oriented. A very funny show.
March 30, 2010 at 11:56 AM · Both are awesome, but T2:3-D is just better in almost every way. I think T2 is the only one that can realistically take down philharmagic, but it seems the bugs will move on.
March 30, 2010 at 12:04 PM · Definitely Tough to be a Bug. It is such a fun entertaining show with some great additional effects. Terminator is OK, but pretty dated and actually quite boring
March 30, 2010 at 12:37 PM · This one was really tough for me but I finally went with Tough to Be a Bug. I could just as easily go the other way. The tree, queue area, theming, and original theater pushed me over the edge. I do enjoy the Terminator show though. Who knows I might change my mind. LOL
March 30, 2010 at 1:32 PM · I'll say that the pacing and flow of a show makes it or breaks it for me. That being said, Tough to be a Bug just flows better... it's more immersive too. It's like a presentation to us from Flik where "something goes wrong!"...

But with T2 it starts with a demo of the T-70's, goes to the T-800 saving John in front of us, then inexplicably, we're just watching a movie once they go through the portal. The movie is entertaining, but there's the disconnect... how are we watching these guys from these angles? Then we finally get brought back into the action for some reason with the T-1000000. Doesn't quite mesh with being part of the show.

Bugs just has a constant flow, and has some good jokes while being immersive and a bit educational.

March 30, 2010 at 1:45 PM · I finally went with Bug. I absolutely love T2: 3D, but I've seen too many inconsistencies in the show on repeat visits. I've even witnessed one show without the motorcycle! That's the sweetest part, and performing without it is as bad as a break-dancing yeti.
March 30, 2010 at 2:19 PM · Gotta agree with Brandon & Joshua. The live-movie-live thing has always bothered me, and when the motorcycle isn't functioning -which I've seen several times- the show suffers tremendously.
Whereas, from the moment I approach the Tree of Life's undergrowth, until I walk out of the show, I am in turns: captivated, amazed, soothed , and delighted.

The film itself holds nothing on Philharmagic of course...

March 30, 2010 at 2:39 PM · I actually think both of these shows are superior to PhilharMagic.
March 30, 2010 at 4:00 PM · I think Tough to be a Bug is the best classic 3D movie. Still T2 uses actors which you do not see to often! I will give it to ITs Tough to Be a Bug being the only 3D movie in which you learn something educational!

Still, Gotta give it to Flik and the gang!

March 30, 2010 at 7:28 PM · D'oh! I didn't realize it was today. Never got to rally the troops!

Oh, well - congrats to the Bug Brigade. It's a spectacular show... Richly deserved!

March 31, 2010 at 7:57 AM · I somehow missed this round, and the match-up before it with Philharmagic and Tiki Room. I'm sad I didn't get to vote, as I definitely would have gone with Terminator 2 3D. Maybe my minor bug phobia is biasing me, but I think Terminator 2's live actor segments push it over the top.
