Tokyo Disneyland, DisneySea to reopen in AprilBy Robert Niles
The company that operates the Tokyo Disney theme parks has announced that it expects to reopen the parks in April.Published: March 29, 2011 at 7:18 PM No definitive reopening date for Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea has been announced. According to Nikkei.com, the Oriental Land Company might choose to limit operating hours to daytime when it reopens the parks, or rotate operation between the parks, opening only one at a time. The area around Tokyo Disney Resort remains subject to rolling blackouts by Tokyo Electric Power Co., the company that - among other things - has, uh, a bit of an ongoing problem with its nuclear plant in Fukushima. Obviously, theme parks can't operate without power. But if the power issue is resolved, Oriental Land appears to be working out plans to get at least some park operations going within the month.

Does anyone know if they used the time for major cleaning/painting/updating or did they just mothball the place? I saw the pics and it looked like they had some significant ground shifting issues and parking lot problems.
