Universal Studios Singapore today released its latest promotional video for the upcoming Transformers: The Ride. In it, we hear from Universal Creative's Thierry Coup and learn a little more about the Autobot EVAC, who will be a major character in the ride.

Transformers: The Ride debuts on December 3, and here's the big news: Theme Park Insider will be in Singapore, live, covering the grand opening to the press the day before. I'll be talking with Transformers director Michael Bay about the ride and his role in developing it, as well as being among the first to experience the ride - which I'll be bringing to you with photos and videos here on ThemeParkInsider.com.

Are you ready? I know I am!

I know, I KNOW that Spiderman will still be better. I think I've had enouugh with Disney's Micheal Bay's Pearl Harbor: The Ride.

3 weeks?! That is great I've never been more excited for a new ride than for Transformers. This is going to be way cool. Can't wait to check it out for myself.

As for TPI being there, well its the next best thing than being there myself. I'm looking forward to seeing the report from Singapore. An interview with Michael Bay sounds very nice as well. 3 more weeks and the world will know the awesomeness that is going to be the Transformers ride!

Well.... HAHA You will certainly not be among the first to ride this!

The staff will be the first, followed by annual pass holders like me!!!!

But I don't think I can get invitation to the launch party.

I envy your job, Robert. I have been to journalism school and it's not half as fun as what you do.
