Comedy Warehouse Special coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios for Limited Run, and Sounds Dangerous is GoingWritten by Dominick D
You remember that old Pleasuree Island skit The Comedy Warehouse Special, right? Well good news; The Disney Parks Blog announced today it's coming back to Disney's Hollywood Studios December 25-31 at the ABC Sound Studio (Sounds Dangerous). They will be taking suggestions from the audience for skits. The showtimes (subject to change) are 11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m., 3:45 p.m., 4:45 p.m. and 5:45 p.m. Now, you heard me say that it will be in Sounds Dangerous, and that is correct. Screamscape reports that on May 18, 2012 (The first Star Wars Weekends of the year), it will be removed from the park map. Now, the attraction is rated 3 on TPI, so I doubt anyone will miss it, just like Narnia. What do you think about it?Published: December 15, 2011 at 4:16 PM

Sweet! One of my suggestions came to fruition (can't find the original thread - it was years ago). The tie between Drew Carey and the improv at Comedy Warehouse is obvious and could make for an excellent attraction. How to keep it funny and clean, however... less obvious. Maybe they could do an alternative nighttime adults-only show. From Phil B. on December 15, 2011 at 5:05 PM
Looks like maybe the early stages of DHS starting to get some much needed love. Narnia shut down, Sounds Dangerous flushed and the clearing out of the i.d.e.a.s. group a few years ago, clear the way for some new attractions and possible expansion. I know a lot of people would like to see a new country added to EPCOT first, but DHS is a bit of a disjointed mess that could use some California Adventure type of love. I just wanted to pause to note that the phrase "that could use some California Adventure type of love" was just written in complete seriousness on this site, and appropriately so. Times have changed. From Dominick D on December 15, 2011 at 9:49 PM
I thought DHS started it's expansion in 2008 (TSM, American Idol, Star Tours 2). From Anthony Murphy on December 17, 2011 at 4:32 PM
I actually liked Sounds Dangerous. I thought it was very underrated. Its a cool concept that is not used often enough. Though I would like to see the Comedy Club. I think with the closings of that and Adv Club, they have a lot of comedians that need some work! This article has been archived and is no longer accepting comments.
