We've got two Orlando favorites in this round, with one from Disney and the other from Universal. They're both as much walk-throughs as they are shows, but they do have their fans, and if you are one of them, here's your chance to vote for your favorite.

March 6, 2012 at 12:23 PM · I hate to do this but I have to go with Poseidon's fury. I just love the effects and story on that attraction even if they are somewhat cheesy and outdated. The building is great too.

One Man's Dream is a great homage to Walt Disney and a great museum type attraction/film, but I'm more drawn to Poseidon in a theme park setting.

March 6, 2012 at 12:28 PM · Poseidon's Fury. Basically because it's got a great facade, and while it's cheesy to the max, I have to give it props for being a big walkthrough attraction in this day and age.

I do love One Man's Dream though.

March 6, 2012 at 12:29 PM · I voted PF simply due to the great FX and theme. Outside of that the attraction has lacked any pop since the day it was built. I have seen each version of PF and the first was def the best. I have never understood why they changed it and am quite sure it must have been a fairly significant investment by the company or this attraction would have shut down years ago.
March 6, 2012 at 12:33 PM · I voted One Man's Dream. I didn't really want to compare the two so it came down to two things. Which one I could walk through more and which one has shorter lines. OMD won both those aspects. I'd rather see how Disney makes magic real than watch incomprehensible, tacky albeit slightly cool fake magic. I only go for the water tunnel.
March 6, 2012 at 12:45 PM · You've heard of "Good cop, bad cop?" Tomorrow's vote will be DEAD C.O.P.
March 6, 2012 at 1:38 PM · I dislike Poseidon's, and have never seen One Man's Dream. Yeah, this matchup was not meant for me. Voted for Poseidon's, but I just don't care about this matchup. I don't even know why I am commenting. I must be bored. Help meeeeeee!
March 6, 2012 at 1:49 PM · This is actually quite a difficult choice. One Man's Dream is an amazing museum experience. The small intimate experience (air conditioned with very few people!) make it a short compelling stop. The models are cool and there's plenty of little facts that I never knew about Walt before I came there.

That being said, Poseidon all the way. Yes, it's cheesy. Yes, the effects are subpar. But it's all about immersion. I go to theme parks to be immersed in a different world.

March 6, 2012 at 1:57 PM · Every time I get in line for Poseideon it breaks down. I rate it the worst attraction at IOA.
March 6, 2012 at 2:05 PM · My vote is going for one mans dream because I love the story of Walt
March 6, 2012 at 4:19 PM · I voted Poseidon, but I honestly hit the wrong button. OMD's picture was first, so I clicked on the first choice.

Yeah, I'm gonna have to read the answer choices more carefully tomorrow. I don't want to say "I'm in the 3% that voted for COP".

March 6, 2012 at 4:37 PM · One Man's Dream easy! I am shocked it is losing. A shrine to THE MAN himself is losing to an attraction that will be gobbled up by Harry Potter within the next few years. Pathetic. I will vote for C.O.P. tomorrow just to protest this vote today!
March 6, 2012 at 5:34 PM · Guys i'm saying we all get together tomorrow and pull off the upset of the tournament in honor of Robert Sherman. Lets take the Carousel Of Progress all the way to the end and make it the winner!
March 6, 2012 at 5:45 PM · I'm in.
March 6, 2012 at 6:47 PM · I had to go with WD:OMD because it's a great tribute to Walt! Also, PF has never drawn me inside; on every IOA visit, I've just passed it by. (Maybe I'll have to try it next time.) Oh, and count me in on the COP vote tomorrow in tribute to Robert Sherman! (I didn't like FJHP, anyway.)
March 6, 2012 at 8:40 PM · I'm all in for voting COP tomorrow in honor of Robert Sherman. It's a great big beautiful tomorrow shining at the end of every day! Also, I'm listening to Sherman Brothers music on You Tube right now.
March 7, 2012 at 3:48 AM · Awesome I posted on a few websites trying to rally support. I don't think we'll be able to pull it off on this short notice but stranger things have happend
March 7, 2012 at 7:07 AM · One Man's Dream should get a permanent home in main street USA in Magic Kindom. It´s wondefull to look at the historie. That said, it´s not an attraction but an awesome museum (in my opinion) so while the title of this contest wants me to choose the best ATTRACTION my vote go´s to the wonderfull Poseidon´s Fury.
There is a lot of things wrong with PF but what when all the effects work it´s an amazin journey.
March 7, 2012 at 8:29 AM · What's the point of this comparison?

Poseidon's Fury is an entertaining attraction with lots of special effects and a storyline.

Walt Disney: One Man's Dream is a movie about the man like a documentary. There are no smoke effects or objects protruding from the chair.

If I had to choose, it is Poseidon's Fury. Walt Disney: One Man's Dream should have been in a different category like the closed DCA's Golden Dreams.

March 7, 2012 at 8:35 AM · Voting for a now sub-par attraction over one of the greatest achievements in theme park attractions out of spite...yup, I'm sure that's what a Disney legend like Robert Sherman would want. Most definitely.
March 7, 2012 at 9:37 AM · I like Poseidon's Fury, but, the original show was best. The set before the water tunnel was duplicated at the show's ending, giving you the impression that you traveled through the under water world back to the temple entrance. The sets all changed in seconds in pitch black darkness and the entire room was changed back. It happened so quickly that your brain could not process it for a few seconds. It was a really cool affect. I'm not sure why they changed it, but it will be interesting to see what happens with this site in the future when Harry Potter 3.0 is given the green light.
