Christening of the Disney Fantasy a Star-studded Celebration in New YorkWritten by Scott Joseph
I went up to New York for the Christening Celebration for Disney Cruise Line's newest ship, the Fantasy last week. The event included a show headlined by Jerry Seinfeld and emceed by Neil Patrick Harris. Marian Carey, as the appointed godmother for the ship, did the christening honors. There were also performances by the casts of the three shows that will play in repertory aboard the ship. The Fantasy sailed in to Port Canaveral, its home, today. It will have its maiden voyage on March 31. Here's a video of some of the sights and sounds. Published: March 6, 2012 at 7:40 PM

I was lucky enough to be on the ship for a tour on 2/29. The ship is fantastic, from the "Aquaduck" to the dining they did a really good job on the ship. I got to see all stateroom levels, and every single one of them were impressive. The balconies were great, the huge porthole windows in an ocean view stateroom were a great surprise, and even the inside staterooms had a live video feed of what is outside your stateroom with a little Disney flare. I fully intend on sailing on the Fantasy when I have a free moment for it. Bravo Disney you did a great job here From Mike Gallagher on March 7, 2012 at 1:24 PM

Not much of a change from the other older ships tbh - but I guess 'if it ain't broke - don't fix it'. It's impressively Disney nonetheless. It's a shame Neil Patrick Harris wasn't on there all the time. It would make it worth going just for him.
