Animator's Palate Dining Room Aboard Disney Fantasy Makes Everyone an Animator*Written by Scott Joseph
There's a really impressive feature in the Animator's Palate dining room aboard the Disney Fantasy, which sets sail on March 31. You still get Crush, the interactive talking turtle, but on the second evening, there's a little bit of magic that has been added, and it all has to do with a seemingly plain-looking place mat. Guests draw features onto a crude outline, and later, after dessert, those drawings come to life as animated figures that interact with Disney characters. Here's a video of what it looks like.Published: March 8, 2012 at 8:58 AM *Update from Robert: On the topic of new Disney restaurants, here's video look from Disney at the progress of construction on the Be Our Guest restaurant in Fantasyland.
