I played the "haunting of the greens" course last Saturday. Two holes were still being worked on so they offered a 20% discount. The greens are a little slow since the carpet is still new. There are a great variety of hazards, and the scenery in the last hole was great! Tip: Wait until the sun goes down to fully enjoy it. The lighting enhances the experience, and theres not much shade except under the pedestrian bridge to escape the Florida sun. From Nick Dakuginow on March 13, 2012 at 6:48 PM
Played the Haunted course, haven't played mini golf in years, had a blast. Very creative, cool effects, and fun all around. This article has been archived and is no longer accepting comments. Previous article: First phase of Magic Kingdom's new Fantasyland soft-opens |

Great courses with a lot of interaction to them, I would put them as more immersive than WDW's collection or anything in the I-Drive district. While Fantasia is still a better layout for a challenge (if maintained properly). While many of the holes are well themed versions of your standard mini golf holes, they are well themed. The music element is not left out as each course is themed properly with that. During the day the courses are not as busy as night, but again some of the efftects work better after dark.
The courses are pretty pricey at 13.99 and a discounted second round. Their also pretty similar in theme while Sci Fi has the superior 18th hole and Haunting has a water element (yes you can get wet)
Scores: Sci Fi 33, Haunted 37
