I would submit that the one concern is the lifespan of some of these characters. Aside from Dora and Sponge Bob(although he's pretty played out too), I don't think any of these characters could be deemed tried and true. They run a high risk of having some of this stuff feel dated and irrelevant within a year. Especially "Hop" which doesn't seem to be nearly as cross cultural and timeless as Despicable Me could be. it looks okay. I was never much of a parade fan, and usually find them as being in the way of my day.
