A preview look at Universal's Superstar Parade floats

Thanks to Theme Park Insider reader and correspondent Domenik Jost's Twitter feed, we have our first look at the floats from the new Universal's Superstar Parade at Universal Studios Florida.

it looks okay. I was never much of a parade fan, and usually find them as being in the way of my day.

I love parades because they lighten up the queues for other attractions!

It looks good, but I wouldn't go out of my way just to see it.

I would submit that the one concern is the lifespan of some of these characters. Aside from Dora and Sponge Bob(although he's pretty played out too), I don't think any of these characters could be deemed tried and true. They run a high risk of having some of this stuff feel dated and irrelevant within a year. Especially "Hop" which doesn't seem to be nearly as cross cultural and timeless as Despicable Me could be.

Seems like there's no floats that would interest me. They look great though!
