Splash down!Written by Robert Niles
It's been hotter than heck over the past week in Southern California, as it has been throughout the summer in many other parts of the country. So to help you think cool thoughts as we head into the new school year, back to work, or whatever else keeps you from getting soaked to the bone in a theme park, here are a few moments to remember:Published: August 21, 2012 at 10:18 PM ![]() ![]() Feeling better yet? Update: Notice that I didn't mention where these pictures were taken. If you know, the comments await your expertise. :^)

I didn't necessarily mean theme park expertise in my update. Sometimes, technical expertise will suffice.... From 98.21.197.128 on August 22, 2012 at 10:04 PM
Ha Ha...... Thanks for that Joe Brown!! I was also wondering what number three was. Notice that most of the pictures are of the major splash rides that are normally just big ovals in some parks.... but the first two you have pictures of (Escape / Jurassic) are probably some of the best example of how that type of ride SHOULD be..... instead of just a simple up, around a curve to a drop and splash down, then around a curve back to the station. Escape is especially photogenic in that picture. From TH Creative on August 23, 2012 at 4:55 PM

Maybe if I get to Mountain Creek this weekend as planned.
