Raptor Encounter Invades Universal Orlando's Jurassic Park

May 22, 2015, 3:51 PM · Universal Orlando today introduced a new Raptor Encounter attraction in the Jurassic Park section of the Islands of Adventure theme park.

Raptor Encounter

Consider this a more, uh, action-oriented version of the old Triceratops Encounter that Universal used to offer guests in this land. This Raptor is no gentle "plant eater," slumbering while guests take photos. Universal's Raptor roars and lunges, intimidating even as he entertains. Take a look, via Universal's promo video:

May 23, 2015 at 8:07 AM · i wished there a t-rex encounter in universal hollywood, i probably go there.
May 24, 2015 at 9:41 PM · It looks a lot better then Disney's Animal Kingdom regular guy in black carrying a raptor suit joke of a walk around. Universal with their new stuff has been better then Disney.

Someone should make a meme with pics of both Universal raptor/ Mickey Mouse raptor

May 25, 2015 at 4:12 PM · OK that is too fun! I hope that this is still in place when I get to Universal in November!
