Disney World Adds Character Dinners to Hollywood & Vine

October 20, 2015, 10:01 AM · Starting next month, character dining will be available year-round at the Hollywood & Vine restaurant in Disney's Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World.

Up until now, the Disney Junior characters have held court at the restaurant during breakfast and lunch, but the characters have "taken a break" at dinner. Starting November 7, Minnie Mouse takes over the dinner shift at Hollywood & Vine, with Minnie’s Holiday Dine. That character meal will run through January 3. Starting the next evening, January 4, the character dinner becomes Minnie's Seasonal Dine, "celebrating the magic of the movies and the glamour of Hollywood." The theme and menu of the character dinner will vary by season, with the first season wrapping up March 20.

Reservations for Minnie’s Holiday Dine are now available, and reservations open for Minnie's Seasonal Dine open Oct. 27. Reservations are available by phone at +1-407-WDW-DINE and online at disneyworld.com/dining.

October 20, 2015 at 1:45 PM · Ya know, despite all these character dining options, I find that there's so many Disney characters that have never appeared in them that I'm sure the kids will love; like the Headless Horseman from Sleepy Hollow, or the Horned King from The Black Cauldron, or Chernabog (did I get his name right?) from Fantasia! Now those would be wonderful additions!
