Harry Potter Actors Talk about Universal's Wizarding World

April 6, 2016, 2:08 PM · What's different about The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Hollywood versus the other Wizarding Worlds in Universal theme parks around the world? What about the theme park lands reminds the stars of Harry Potter about their time filming the movies? If the stars could nick any souvenir from the Wizarding World, what would they take?

And how are Universal's Wizarding Worlds helping cultivate the relationship between Harry Potter fans and the Harry Potter franchise? Five actors from the Harry Potter films — Tom Felton [Draco Malfoy], Evanna Lynch [Luna Lovegood], James Phelps [Fred Weasley], Oliver Phelps [George Weasley], and Warwick Davis [Professor Flitwick/Griphook] — answered these and other questions about #WizardingWorldHollywood from invited reporters, this morning at the park.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter opens officially to the public tomorrow morning, with an "opening moment" planned for 6:15am, in advance of the land's 7am early-entry opening. Universal has announced that the park is sold out for Thursday's opening day, so expect wall-to-wall crowds for the public debut.

April 6, 2016 at 4:42 PM · Universal Hollywood is obviously so over budget that they could only afford one microphone! #ThanksHollywood
April 6, 2016 at 9:46 PM · They started the session with at least seven wireless microphones. And after ear-scorching feedback left everyone in pain, Universal's tech decided to go with a couple of wired mics. And eventually, they just gave up on those and that's why you see the actors standing closer to the audience at the end of the video. Fortunately, I was in the front row, so I could hear everything, even without the mics.

The feedback issue was one of the reasons why I went with an edited video rather than a straight playback - to spare you what we all went through. ;^)
