Watch Disney's New Year's Eve fireworks right here

December 29, 2017, 11:12 AM · Wish you could ring in the new year at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom? If you can't make it to Orlando this year — or don't want to endure the gridlocked crowds — you can watch a livestream of the midnight fireworks display right here:

With its much warmer weather than New York's Times Square (especially this year!), Walt Disney World is our favorite place to welcome the arrival of the new year, surrounded by tens of thousands of other theme parks fans. While there's nothing like experiencing that celebration in person, it's nice to be able to share that moment with fans online. The livestream begins at 11:45pm ET on Sunday, December 31, and will remain archived after that.

If you are in the area and visiting the parks this week, remember that there's another option for experiencing the Magic Kingdom's New Year's Eve fireworks in person. Disney also runs the show on December 30... and it runs that Fantasy in the Sky special at 6:30 pm on both evenings as well as at 10 minutes to midnight. So that's four chances to see the show in person. (Take in one of the first three, then you can go hit up as many rides as you can as midnight approached on NYE while everyone else is crammed into the hub for the final show.)

We listed all the Disney World New Year's Eve events here. If you're looking for something fresh this year, Universal Studios Hollywood in California is running its first New Year's Eve celebration this year. You'll also find midnight fireworks at Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, and SeaWorld Orlando, and "midnight" fireworks at 6pm at Legoland California and 8pm at Legoland Florida.

How will you be celebrating the arrival of 2018?
