Disney 'paints the night' with a new Incredibles parade float

June 22, 2018, 1:03 AM · After riding the new Incredicoaster and eating our way across Pixar Pier, we wrapped up Disney's media preview tonight with a look at the debut of the new Incredibles float in the Paint the Night parade.

The effective replacement for the Frozen unit that was too tall to fit under the Red Car Trolley lines on Carthay Circle and Hollywood Boulevard, this float features the entire Parr superhero family, along with best buddy Frozone. Here's our first-look video:

The Incredibles float takes its place as the penultimate float in the show, playing second fiddle only to the master himself, Mickey Mouse.

Paint the Night gets the spotlight to itself each evening in Disney California Adventure this summer, as World of Color is delayed for an indefinite period due to necessary repairs. At least that means the Incredicoaster and the Pixar Pal Around wheel can run all evening now instead of having to close early for the lagoon show.
