Yes, you can ride in an actual Transformer now

November 14, 2018, 12:59 PM · Here's a contender for the biggest head-turner at this year's IAAPA Attractions Expo in Orlando. It's a real-life Transformer.

Sansei Technologies introduced its J-Deite Ride, which it is calling the industry's first transforming robot ride. "Riders can experience the thrill of being in the cockpit of a car as it transforms into a Bipedal Robot. This innovative concept can be adapted to a variety of configurations to meet the customer's specific needs," the company said.

Of course, they can’t use the word “transformer” because trademarks and such. But we know what this is. Here's the ride in action, on the show floor:

So far, we've only seen the one transforming car on the show floor. Should another one show up, we will be evacuating before the inevitable city-destroying Michael Bay set piece begins.

The world would be destroyed whilst we wait for these particular Transformers to finish transforming!

This might be great for those watching (eventually) but does it really enhance the ride experience?
