Published: June 5, 2009 at 10:46 AMI wonder if the interface allows you to change songs mid-ride ...
Published: June 5, 2009 at 12:21 PMAny idea WHEN it's going to open next month? We're heading out that way July 30th and 31st, so hoping to get a chance to ride it. :D
Published: June 5, 2009 at 12:47 PMHearing that they're working on the lift hill - again. No word from the park on a media day yet, either. (Parks usually give at least two to three weeks' notice on those.)
Published: June 5, 2009 at 4:33 PMThat's a bad sign.
I recall seeing a video of them testing the coaster. I think this may be because the coaster takes too damn long to get the ride up the lift hill, and that's with an EMPTY coaster. They might be adjusting it or adding more to it so it doesn't suck as much.
Published: June 5, 2009 at 5:01 PMum looks uncomortable.....
Published: June 5, 2009 at 5:10 PMGrrr, when is this coaster gonna open to the public? I have been eagerly waiting for RRR ever since I first saw the promo posters.
I remember visiting Universal Studios early spring (and RRR was still missing some pieces) but there was a section there where you could exit the park another way- I could cross through the construction, see the big drop above me, and I ended up near the Blue Man Group building. I wonder if that'll still be open like that when it opens - be a great picture place.
Each of these delays and "coming soon" is kinda making the hype die for me. and like Eric says, I feel like the delays are a bad sign.
Published: June 5, 2009 at 5:27 PMIm still shooting for a july 4th date...But so far nothig in the mail about a pass holders preview. Ill post it when I get it.
Published: June 5, 2009 at 7:03 PMSupposedly, they have removed part of the lift hill in order to install an anti-rollback mechanism. No word if this work will delay the rumored opening.
Published: June 5, 2009 at 8:43 PMAnyone hear about a setlist for this? I heard that they're will be 30 total but haven't heard any rumors about what they might be.

Published: June 6, 2009 at 11:53 AMYeah, anti-rollback is a standard part of every lift coaster I know. Maybe they are swapping it?
All I know is that, in general, the longer you make someone wait for something, the better that person expects it to be. Good if you can meet that standard; bad if you can't.
Published: June 7, 2009 at 1:03 AMIts was Great! I had the time of my life.
Published: June 8, 2009 at 6:37 AMAs of yesterday, June 7, the entire track is now off the lift hill. There is nothing there at all. A construction worker on site told me not to expect this ride to be operational until Labor Day. This is solely his personal opinion he stressed but by the looks of it his prediction seems reasonable.

I was looking forward to going on the ride but looks like i have not chance! we fly out to orlando on monday and return back to uk 2 weeks later!
