I'd say a B&M roller coaster, but Kings Island just got Diamondback. Son of Beast seems to be causing more problems than entertainment lately, so I think a GCI wooden coaster would be a welcome addition.

I would like to see another Spiderman like attraction.

For all of you D23ers out there. The current issue has a sketch that Imagineers wanted to make the Haunted Mansion a 3D attraction in which you actually sit in the ghostly ballroom at TDL! How cool would that have been?

I think it would be awesome for B & M and Intamin to create a new type of ride, or B & M to create a 4D coaster! Intamin needs to do a stand-up. B & M needs to build more flying instead of Vekoma! And Carowinds is getting a new B & M--supposed to be great!!!

I think it would be awesome if Kings Island contacted Intamin or B & M and said "Please help us fix Son Of Beast, so we can save this amazing ride!"

For rides, I would like wooden coasters, but I have to vote for the Live Musical. There is nothing that can replace the value for young and old as the the excellent, quality, educational and meaningful entertainment provided by our dedicated live entertainers. This includes Live performers, Lighting and sound techs, stage managers, support staff, etc. These people devote their lifes talents for our pleasure and seem to work for peanuts. They deserve so much more. If they are willing to devote their lives to our entertainment, i pledge my support for them !

I will now go register for this excellent site I have just found. Oh and for the record, I am not an entertainer, just an "old" fan who is very appreciative.

When will that darn 1000 ft drop coaster move from the drawing board to the real world?
And I wish all existing coaters would get retofitted with the new X car style restraints. THereby making a newer scarrier coaster out of existing ones. Maybe even making some oldies ride worthy again, (like Revolution, which was ruined by over the shoulders).

Having lived an hour near WDW for a decade, I'd like to see something different besides a new coaster, shoot the chutes ride (providing that a log flume and a rapids ride has been already implemented since several years), so I chose a new high-budget, Broadway-style, musical show as my expectation for any of the four parks, especially the Magic Kingdom. I have several Facebook friends (and one or two Plaxo connections) who write for the musical theater under my belt and I find the current Castle Forecourt Stage show, "Dream Along With Mickey," in that particular park lacking a few teeth here and there since it is accompanied by canned music. (I like the choreography, effects, and articulated faces, though.) So I hope that a live, Broadway-style show, preferably with a live band (Think "Disney Mania," a stage show from the 1990's, or "Mickey's 'Twas the Night Before Christmas," before the Galaxy Palace Theater was sadly razed!), would be in place at WDW.

I'd like to see a log-flume attraction or rapids at Disneyland Resort Paris. Having just come back off a trip it's still very clear that the park is lacking a water-based attraction and something along the lines of Splash Mountain would do the world of good.

Or maybe something else water-based, possibly a highly-themed water coaster like Journey to Atlantis.

I wouldn't say it's my favourite, but Alton Towers Resort in the UK is my most local and the easiest and cheapest theme park for me to get to. I think it is supposed to be the best in the UK, but it recently introduced a very poor indoor Charlie and the Chocolate factory ride and has an even worse indoor supposedly scary swing ride. It does however have some very good coasters such as Nemesis, Air and Oblivion if a little small scale to the ones you have in the US. What it could definitely do with is a really world class indoor ride so I have voted 3D simulator. I am positive that this would never happen, but it would be nice.

I want the Tarzan show back at Animal Kingdom! I loved that show..loved those very talented roller blading monkeys. Why did they close that show????

Rather than pick a favorite theme park, I went with my local park, Worlds of Fun. And while it could definitely use a few more roller coasters (Prowler was a step in the right direction), it even more desperately needs an influx of high quality, immersive, family-friendly, narrative dark rides. Therefore, I went with the Omnimover-style dark ride (I would like to see the addition of a Shoot-'em up dark ride as well). And honestly, if you make a good dark ride, almost any park would benefit from that addition.

I was thinking about my home park, Cedar Point, during this poll. I went with a GCI woodie because CP is in dire need of a good wooden coaster. Granted, I love Blue Streak [it falls in my Top 5 for the park] and I think it provides nice thrills and airtime for such a small, old woodie, but we need something bigger. Mean Streak is an absolute nightmare and doesn't do woodies justice.
Now, I'm not saying I think CP is getting a woodie in 2010, but I would love to see one in the future.

I already voted for the live Broadway Style show, because thats the kind of thing I like a lot.. However, I also think that CP could benefit from any kind of dark ride/simulator, if done well. That's something they have absolutely NONE of, unless you count Disaster Transport. And it would not take up a whole lot of room in the park. I think many of those are more family oriented, as well, so it would be an interesting addition, although it sure seems like nothing CP or Cedar Fairs would do!

...I held of to today to offer my 2cents...I also went for the big musical style shows as well...These at one time were a park staple..and then the roller coaster wars got in the way..And the budget pretty much went to them...And many of the parks theaters or arenas sit empty...And the band stands silent...Even Disney pulled the switch on a few shows in favor of other things..One is there parades...I tend to avoid them myself...except for Spectromagic...ANd to be fair CF did the same, and so did Six Flags..they all claim entertainment..But after a recent visit to a SF park I didnt see it..Oh well...thats my 2 cents

I considered the question from the context of what attraction would improve a park's guest experience, rather than picking an attraction I would like to ride.

My favorite park is the Magic Kingdom. The attraction they should add is a playground/sprayground. Two weekends in a row, we walked around the Magic Kingdom in the Florida sun. To call it HOT would be an understatement. In Fantasyland (where shade is a rare commodity, the pavement was like a griddle at McDonalds.

I've posted it before (and more extensively than this time) shut down the Grand Prix raceway, and build an enormous playground/sprayground. Theme it as the enchanted forest. Throw a re-creation of the seven dwarfs cottage. Install both wet and dry play areas with trees and canopied play areas.

Parents could cut their kids loose -- you don't have to stand in line to step under a bucket drop o run through a pop fountain. It also serves the purpose of getting guests off the streets (reducing the intensity of crowds).

If Disney did it right and made it a beautiful sprawling attraction, families would be so happy and the publicity would be so positive they could possibly sneat a beer stand in under the radar ;o)

Like many others before me, I went with my home park rather than my favorite park.

Canada's Wonderland needs a high-budget live show for the whole family. Its coaster and thrill ride selection is ample.

TH, I have now rethought my position on the refurb of the Jungle Cruise and will instead join you in your crusade to rid the world of the terrible Tomorrowland Speedway. While I would rather see a Meet The Robinsons coaster or a top notch Spider-Man-like sci-fi attraction in that area of real estate, your playground sounds like a huge improvement over the car-on-a-rails midway experience currently in place. My hat is off to you, sir!
