Published: August 28, 2009 at 1:57 PMBackscratchers, Robert! I collect theme park backscratchers. Any other backscratcher fans out there?
Published: August 28, 2009 at 2:56 PMIt's postcards for me, although those are becoming extinct. I've been collecting them for years, and now I place them in frames (usually with internal mattes that allow 3 to 6 in one frame) and hang them on my office wall. I can just turn away from the computer and take a little theme park vacation whenever I need it.
Published: August 28, 2009 at 3:11 PMYou forgot attraction hats! I buy em for every floorless coaster i ride. :D
Published: August 28, 2009 at 3:46 PMYes, you forgot Park Baseball Caps. So I put shirts. My son collects hats, my daughter collects shirts.
Needless to say, the parks have gotten us good.....
Published: August 28, 2009 at 5:06 PMProbably one of my favorites not on the list is COFFEE MUGS - with graphics representing either the park as a whole or just an individual attraction. I love them... as my over stuffed cabinet can attest! The best part is that they are a souvenir that repeatedly shows up in your day-to-day life - reminding you of past good times and adventures. Many of the souvenirs on the list (many of which I have) disappear into drawers or boxes and are rarely seen again.
Published: August 28, 2009 at 5:21 PMOne reason the snow globe thing is dead, is that you can't bring them on an airplane anymore. You have to pay extra for shipping them to your home. I personally love them, just not enough to pay extra, unless I just see one that is a must have. I had to go with what I usually end up with, attraction T-shirts. Love wearing them around and thinking of the awesome rides.
Published: August 28, 2009 at 5:30 PMOO OO! Snow globes aren't dead for me! LOL
Published: August 28, 2009 at 6:02 PMi like to collect shot glasses, i have one from every park and one from all 6 horror nights ive been to.
Published: August 28, 2009 at 7:55 PMI'll never give up my Mickey ears. I'm actually scared to wear them for fear of losing them. They are the old thicker felt style with the authentic HAND sewn name on the back (not that computerized stuff).
I like pins - so many unique designs. Something for everyone.

Published: August 29, 2009 at 8:09 AMWhat about baseballs?
Published: August 29, 2009 at 12:02 PMI went for shot glasses. I don't collect anything in particular, but my son has a shot glass collection. If you have ever shopped for them at DL they do not call them shot glasses, they are usually called toothpick holders.
Published: August 29, 2009 at 9:52 PMMy favorite souvenir isn't listed above. It's a necklace from Islands of Adventure. It was from the stand where they press a coin for you, using your choice of design, using an old mechanical coin press.
The pendant started off shiny, but the shiny finish quickly wore off, and the "coin" quickly took on a nice aged color, looking a lot like an actual old coin.
So I love it because I can wear it anywhere - even to work - and it's just my little secret that I'm sporting a theme park souvenir!
