So is the planned park for Central Florida dead? I was looking forward to getting a gate here in Florida.

This project is so (relatively) small that it shouldn't affect Legoland's plans for a second US theme park. They're going to build this in just a few months.

Small is right, 5.5 acres is less than a 500 feet by 500 feet square. That's barely more than a big hotel and parking lot.

To answer Roberts question:

The real answer is Cedar Fair:
1. California's Great America
2. Gilroy Gardens Family Theme Park
3. Knott's Berry Farm
4. Knott's Soak City
5. Knott's Soak City Palm Springs
6. Knott's Soak City Chula Vista

Six Flags even has three gates currently:
1. Six Flags Discovery Kingdom
2. Six Flags Magic Mountain
3. Six Flags Hurricane Harbor
