But then again the cards have been stacked against the place because of its location. Before I-4 was built everyone took Hwy 27 to travel up and down Florida. After I-4 it just became harder and harder for the park to get people in.
Published: September 24, 2009 at 6:01 PMAs beautiful as CG is, it's really a dinosaur in terms of theme parks go. The only viable option is to let the city take over the property and turn it into a regular park for the locals to enjoy. Most folks who visit Central Florida don't come to see flower gardens or Ski shows anymore. Unfortunatly this place has run it's course and needs to find a way to keep it's gardens available to the public and avoid being taken over by land developers who will turn it into condos.
