Published: June 28, 2006 at 7:50 PMInteresting! I am really really going to miss Who wants to be a Millionare. Besides being a dark ride and being Pixar, any other information. Honestly, I do not see what this attraction will do with the movie theme of MGM since the title makes it fit perfectly with DCA's themed land of Paradise Pier!
Published: June 29, 2006 at 2:40 PMMy impression is that the MGM contract is close to running out. This ride may serve as a departure from the MGM logo and namesake. This could be the begining of "Disney Studios" or some other name for the park. Maybe then they could get rid of that god-awful "Great Movie Ride" and replace it with a Disney/PIXAR movie ride. The Wizard of Oz only debued about 60 years ago, the ride is a tad bit dated. Just a thought though!
Published: June 29, 2006 at 3:09 PMMaybe they could make a ride like Spiderman at IOA with a twist. Instead of comic book villians attacking you during the ride it could be a giant skinny Star Jones figure attacking the other cast members of "The View". Barbara Walters, fat Star Jones, Meridith Viera and Joyce Behar could battle the evil skinny Star Jones during the ride. At the end of the ride a buff looking Rosie O could crush the life out of the evil skinny Jones and save the day. (Disney owns ABC, right?) A great ride with a Millionaire tie-in!!!! ;-)
Published: June 30, 2006 at 1:19 PMMidway Mania will be the first ride to mix live action shooters with 3D technology. There is also a copyright on a device that will use X-ray technology pending. You will be able to use the X-ray gun to see your targets. I like the Pixar films, dont get me wrong, but I think disney is going way overboard on them. The Studios should be the place you see the movies, but thats about it. Lets leave the other parks for the original ideas, like Everest. I love the imagination used on that ride, though I dont really like the ride itself.

Besides the great effect possibilities with Bomb Voyage, there's also that whole sling-shot move with Elastigirl and of course Frozone's ice powers. Regardless of the story, hopefully this ride will be just as great as SpiderMan or even better.
