Love their work the best!
Published: November 27, 2009 at 10:41 AMWhile Imagineering and Universal Creative are responsible for designing the basic concepts for their coasters, especially the thematic elements, the coasters themselves are built by established coaster manufacturers: Expedition Everest and Rock and Roller Coaster - Vekoma, Revenge of the Mummy - Premier, Dueling Dragons and Hulk, B&M.
Published: November 27, 2009 at 10:41 AMHow do I love B&M? Let me count the ways...
Published: November 27, 2009 at 11:11 AMTrue, I will remember the Universal Creative thing in the future.
Anyway, I voted for B&M because I can name a whole bunch of their roller coaster. Vek gets a no vote from me because of their Deja Vu fail at SFGA and Mack's representative that I have met was not very nice!
I still probably vote for B&M
Published: November 27, 2009 at 11:16 AMI was inclined to vote for B&M like everyone else but without GCI the coaster collection at my local park (Worlds of Fun) would be really passé. So, thank God for Great Coasters International and the Prowler!
Published: November 27, 2009 at 12:05 PMI love so many different coasters for so many different reasons. However I have to give my vote to Intamin for setting the gold standard with Millennium Force. I cringe at the day when that coaster is no longer operational. I will agree with the other posters that there were some outstanding hits this year. GCI rocked our socks with Prowler, not to be missed @ night. B&M did not disappoint with both Diamondback and Manta
Published: November 27, 2009 at 12:41 PMWell, I don't think a lot of people have been on it. But I love that ride!!! I rode it like 5 days after it opened.
Published: November 27, 2009 at 3:37 PMI am most thankful for Great Coasters International! ...not just for their coasters, but for being a great group of people as well.
Published: November 27, 2009 at 4:09 PMI also voted for B & M!!!!!
Published: November 27, 2009 at 5:08 PMI've got to go for the Gravity Group for one simple word...Voyage!
Published: November 28, 2009 at 12:10 AM[the now bankrupt] Arrow would have my vote solely because of Cedar Point's Magnum. Since S&S purchased Arrow, that's where my vote goes.
Published: November 28, 2009 at 12:15 PMI would like to add Disney's in-house coaster designers. They have created some of my favorite coasters.
I'm also a fan of Arrow. The Loch Ness Monster is still one of my favorites.
Published: November 29, 2009 at 2:36 PMIntamin, they make most of my favourite coasters, and push the boundaries.
