Sha-Kon-O-Hey is my vote, the show is great! It also won IAAPA's Heartbeat Award in 2009.

The Horror make up show is always fun, entertaining, and even a bit educational. The actors are funny and the show never has any down time. It's one of the surprise hits of USF and one of my favorite theme park shows.

I love the Horror Make-Up Show! It's definitely one of the reasons I'm so glad I have an annual pass. I am almost up to seeing it 100 times since January 21st of this year. I just love seeing the show, especially with my favorite actor there. :)

I have seen Sha-Kon-O-Hey! on several occasions and each time I notice something different. The opening act is incredible and when the girl lead starts off singing, you feel like your right there living a time in the early 1900s that I never expereinced because I was born long after that time period. It captures history and the viewer simultaneously. It tells a great story and Dolly did an awesome job with all the song lyrics. I get the tunes in my head and when I leave the show, I always leave with a new sense of pride for "My Mountains" and I am so glad to call them "My Home!"

Dollywood did get "Best in SHOWS" last year...that's all I'm saying!

Wow, April C. 100 times? That's... obsessive.

I, too, love the Horror Make-Up Show. My only problem with it is that you learn very little about make-up, but the hosts are so funny that I can forgive that.

Maybe just a bit. I do other things as well. It's all in good fun.

I think if they taught you more, the movies might not seem as cool if you knew so many of the details.

Sha-Kon-O-Hey was the "editor's pick" that I gave a free pass into the tournament, despite its low number of votes. Even though it didn't advance, I do hope that being in the tournament brought some more readers' attention to the show, and that maybe a few might find their way to seeing it this year.

It's a great show.

Yep, this one was really impacted by low voter turnout from the Herschend Contingent. I wonder if a Tweet or two from the Dollywood Twitter account would have helped? Although that account hasn't been very active for....ever.
