Here are some things I saw/heard while I was down there:

I was able to see the fire and projection effects and towards the end of the trip, my parents said a new channel was added to the TV to play Wonderful World of Color so that people who are staying in Paradise Pier can watch and listen as well. They have one for Disneyland as well. I think Disney World, especially EPCOT should consider this!

Also, this is a fastpass event meaning you must pick up a fastpass for you and the rest of your party to see the two showings a night. It is standing room only, but it looks to get fantastic views. I am guessing they are thinking this will be a GIANT hit!

I AM SO EXCITED! Never has this been done before, and I sure hope this is the first of many times a theme park will debut their new attractions live online! I will be staying up however late I need to for sure!

Just as in insight I am a WOC CM. This show is NOTHING! like Fantasmic. We have NO actors and there is really NO true story. So when you see the show DO NOT compare the two because the ONLY thing that they have in common is that they sit on a bed of water. WOC uses water lights fire and fog and that is it. Just be sure to watch the AMAZING effects that Mickey's fun wheel does during the show. It is something that was redone for WOC. ENJOY THE SHOW!!!!!

What an intriguing picture. I don't know how Disney could top Illuminations or Fantasmic. Guess we'll have to see.

I don't think the streaming video will do its justice. This is going to be one of those shows that you HAVE to see in person to really take in its beauty.

I avoid watching any preview videos or much less the full show of a brand new attraction on the internet in order to fully get a fresh experience whenever i do get to see it live and in person. Just a personal preference but it is kinda cool that they are gonna do this. I can't wait to experience this for myself.

I was privileged to see a preview of the entire World of Color show Tuesday night as a special viewing for radio show guests. It is amazing! The colors, projections, music, and sheer magnitude of the show will blow you away. It one-ups Fantasmic in almost every category. The show highlights Wall-E, Cars, the Little Mermaid, Toy Story, Finding Nemo, and a lot of older Disney classics.

The closer you stand near the lagoon, the more likely you'll get wet, as the water streams up to 200 ft. high, and disperses rapidly.

Disney has outdone itself with this show - any fan of Disney should make plans to see it as soon as you can!

You don't pick up a fast pass to see this show, but it is a pass of some kind. I think it's first come first served when you enter the park.

I have seen the show twice. Once on opening night (not from a fast pass area) and once Sunday night from the Blue fast pass area. The show is great but I have yet to be able to see the screens completly. Since it is standing room only if you are not in the front row of one of the tiers it is really hard to see all of the screens due to people standing. This is mainly an issue since the lake is set so far down. Something you don't encounter during a Fantasmic show. All in all the show is good but they are going to need to figure out the viewing chaos a little better because if you don't get in line an hour before the park opens you will be out of luck on a good viewing area.
