Wow. Excellent detail, especially on the lanyards.

I'm impressed. If they know anything about the die hard HP fans, simple things like that will go over great. If they'd forgotten something simple, there would be a call for heads to roll. Maybe one day I will get down there to see it.

When I booked my rooms at the Hard Rock for an August stay, I was assured that my room key would get us in the Express line at the Forbidden Journey. I say assured because I had a lengthy discussion with the sales agent regarding how ridiculous it was to not offer the Express pass when the RockIt Roller coaster opened. The woman assured me repeatedly that this was not going to be the case with Harry Potter. Then, I just read that there is no Express pass for guests, only early opening. What a joke.

Love the humour.

Thomas - When we booked Portofino Bay months and months ago, we were also led to believe that the Express Pass would apply to FJ. We head down next week, but by August, you will hopefully see some relief in the crowds. I guess taking advantage of the early access each day will be our best bet to get in without waiting for hours.

That lanyard was being sold during soft openings. It is clever but not special.

I went on Sunday, June 20th, and there was no line or wait to get into the WWOHP from the other parts of IOA. The longest wait was the line for the Forbidden Journey ride in Hogwarts, but the wait was only 50 minutes (sign read 120). The wait for single rider was about 10 minutes. I stayed on-site at the Hard Rock Hotel. Your room key acts as an express pass for select rides, including two in WWOHP but the FJ is not one of them. Still, the wait was not long, and it was great to walk up to many of the rides. Be sure to check it out at night - the entrance the the FJ ride and the Flight of the Hippogriff shouldn't be missed at night. Oh, and the butterbeer and Hog's Head Brew were so good, but go inside the pub (next door down from the restaurant) instead of waiting in the super long line outside. Go for the ambiance. Apparently the machine that makes the frothy head doesn't work so well outside in the heat. Hence, the long lines, which are twice as long as the line inside the nice pub that looks like it's straight out of the books/movies. Cheers!

Awesome! I like the lanyard a lot... I think a lot of people should wear this, politicians, musicians, CEOs... ex-gf's. HAH.
