Published: July 20, 2010 at 5:16 PMWe already made our reservations for this year. The schedule is not as interesting in years past, and whoever thought it was a good idea to hold a dessert event outside before Illuminations (3D Events) needs to have their head examined. I'm also a little annoyed there are no cooking schools this year, because it didn't work into our schedule last time, and I really wanted to do one this year and had plenty of flexibility in the schedule to accommodate it.
We're going to try another Party for the Senses (did one in 2005), and I'm going to do one of the taquilla tastings. With an infant, we're pretty limited in what we can do, since even infants have to pay for admission to the events, even if they can't eat or drink anything. We were considering the signature dinner at The Wave, but lackluster reviews of the restaurant (and the fact you have to reserve before you even know what the menu is) caused us to reconsider.
We will probably reserve a few tastings and cooking demos when they become available at the end of August. And of course, we will be dining around the world at all of the booths with the help of snack credits from the the free Disney Dining Plan we got by booking an on-site room (assuming they maintain the same policy they've had in years past).
