Published: August 2, 2010 at 7:31 PMMy guess is that it's some high-speed thrill ride involving dinosaurs. From the size of the lot they're building on they don't have room to make a roller coaster, so I'm guessing it's gonna be some indoor attraction.
Published: August 2, 2010 at 7:40 PMScreamscape has rumors from good sources saying it will be a cheetah themed Intamin Rocket Coaster. It would make sense as it is African and speed themed, describing a Cheetah and an Intamin Rocket Coaster. Plus, in the video, the guy runs super speed at the end...
But for those of you hoping for dinosaurs to come from this in an African themed park, good luck! ;D

Published: August 2, 2010 at 9:47 PMThat could be the real name :-) No matter what type of coaster it is, it will be a welcome addition to the park. These Busch Gardens parks always have great theming to go along with their collection of world-class coasters. Very excited.
Published: August 3, 2010 at 11:42 AMI'm just impressed that Busch Gardens is willing to reach out to the blogsphere. Good marketing.
Published: August 3, 2010 at 1:48 PMIf some of the speculations are correct the ride will be a launch coaster with some world firsts (rumors I heard is the number 4, that is 4 world firsts). But rumors are rumors and until I hear something official from Busch Gardens I won't believe them 100%. But if it is true, how cool would it be to have a new launch coaster with a vertical tower element and loops and still be able to get those speed and air time thrills over those hills.
I'm looking forward to a good new attraction and area at BGT in 2011. What SeaWorld Orlando did with the flying coaster Manta, I expect Busch Gardens Tampa to do with this coaster....amaze us from all angles.
And to the video, I think it is really cool for them to have customized those videos to each Fansite. Great marketing dedication :)
Published: August 3, 2010 at 4:17 PMThe Busch/Sea World parks have always been good at reaching out to online media, and it's clear that they are trying hard to stay current in their marketing and promotional strategies.
I expect this new attraction to be similar to the scale of Manta at Sea World that combines an immersive animal exhibit with a thrill ride. The strongest rumors point to a launching terrain-hugging coaster that will run from Montu all the way to Kumba and back (no lack of space there). The one bad thing that I'm hearing is that is that is indeed an Intamin creation, which is surprising considering all of the success Busch/Sea World parks have had with B&M.
Published: August 3, 2010 at 5:24 PMIf you want a launch coaster, though, Intamin's pretty much the choice over B&M, which doesn't have launch as much through its repertoire.
Published: August 3, 2010 at 7:39 PMPremier would be my choice for a launcher. Since they solved their restraint systems on their spaghetti-bowl coasters, they've had a run of successful installations including Revenge of the Mummy, one of the highest rated coasters on TPI.
Intamin's rocket coasters (hydraulic cable launch) are unreliable and have already proved to be risky propositions, while its LIMs and LSMs systems are gigantic power draws for any park that has them (not that Premier is any more energy efficient).
Reps from B&M have stated their interest in working with launching systems in recent interview, but a park needs to approach them first, meaning they're not going to actively market a launching product. As everyone knows, B&M's only launched coaster, Incredible Hulk, has a custom-designed launching system that B&M outsourced to develop, and was a product of very special design specifications that Universal presented to B&M.
If this project is going to open in 2011, there's probably not much more waiting to do before everyone finds out what this new coaster is going to be.
Published: August 7, 2010 at 7:53 PMWell, My Thought's are Name Cheetah Ka Is Very Similar too Kinda Ka. And I have also heard rumours that its going to be a Intamin Based Roller coaster. Which will be fast. and also will be the longest Steel Coaster In America! I have also scene leaked Layout Plans for the ride which covers most of the park. in a certain area of the park. so I think it's going to be Rocket Coaster Part of the plans shows a top hat which is featured on Top Thrill Dragster and Kinda Ka. and The Ride will have 3 Launch Sections Threw out the ride. That's all i possibly know at the moment.
But I keep in touch if i find anymore out soon :)
