(Deep Breath)
Traveling just a short distance west of Main Street USA at the number one theme park on the only inhabited planet known to man is an exotic (if somewhat foreboding) corner of the world known as Adventureland. While the tropical atmosphere is home to various ancillary attractions like the bird show and that off-the-shelf pirate ... carny thing, the crown jewel of Adventureland (if not the theme park industry world wide) is Disney's Jungle River Navigation Company.
If visitors can muster the courage, they board a "weather-worn watercraft" (trademark THCreative. All rights reserved) and are led by an intrepid skipper on an extraordinary journey along the world's rivers of adventure.
...or at least on the DL. Baseball fans will know what I mean. If you're not a baseball fan, then you're outta luck.
TH, my mom wasn't much for rides, but she loooved her some Jungle Cruise.
I didn't vote in the poll, because I don't know Disney well enough in terms of what's where and the layout.
Then again, Adventure at DL is also pretty impressive. So too is Discoveryland at DLRP. God - so many choices. I wonder if the vote was given to our children which would be top? Perhaps Fantasy would be higher? Who knows..
Good poll...
I worked there, and I loved it. Nothing beats the view of Wishes from atop the Astro-Orbiter. Nothing can take that away from me.
I considered choosing Fantasyland because I think it is one of the lands that sets Disney apart from it's competitors...... it's like a kids area that adults can enjoy also due to the immersive and fun dark rides. I don't think it's just for kids or mamby pambys. I think it will be awesome when the Fantasyland forest opens up..... I think getting a wooded / shaded area into the park sounds like a great idea (although less princess meet and greets would not dissappoint me).
Disneyland Paris isn't the only Disneyland to change the names of the lands. Tokyo Disneyland's Frontierland is known as Westernland and Main Street USA is known as World Bazaar.
