What a wonderful attraction for City Walk! I saw the group's Complex Rock Tour show & have always been a huge fan. Good luck to BMG & City Walk.

Any confirmation on Blue Man Group having a permanent location @ City Walk? I would travel to Florida rather than NY to see them in concert even though I live in Philadelphia :)

I think this will be a wonderful fit for both Universal and BMG - a situation where everyone benefits. Caught BMG in Vegas last winter and found it to be an incredible show. The prices listed on the Universal website are very reasonable and much less than what I paid for the show in Vegas. They are likely marketing towards the family experience.

Yes, it was confirmed today that Blue Man Group will take over the old Nickelodeon Studios building. The building will be revamped into a 1000 seat auditorium that will be accessable from both CityWalk and USF. Work is supposed to be done by May with a June opening date, for which, tickets are already on sale.

Wow. As a Blue Man fan, I am pleasantly shocked at these ticket prices. $45 for daytime shows, $55 for evening shows. Prices haven't been that low for Blue Man shows in YEARS. If they really plan to do 15 shows a week (2-a-day Sun-Fri, 3 on Saturday), that'll be awesome. Only a tourist spot like CityWalk Orlando would allow them to do that. Even Las Vegas only gets 8 shows a week. but that theatre is about 2 times bigger than what Orlando is likely getting. And no, that's not a bad thing. Blue Man works best in smaller theater. Orlando's Blue Man theater will be 1000. Good size. I am really happy about this news. And the June opening date is quite a surprise, too. Back to Orlando I go!

I think that is so cool that you would let one of us take your spot in events. What a great opportunity for us. Unfortunately, I live in Texas and I don't meet the requirements but if you ever need anyone to do Sea World SA or Schlitterbaun, I am your girl!!! Good luck!

Just keep reading the site on a regular basis, to see announcements in the Blog Flume about events I need someone to cover. I don't want to limit us to SoCal/Orlando events, either. I'd love to get more coverage of outstanding regional parks, such as BGE, Cedar Point, SFGAdv, Dollywood and Kings Island, on the site.
