I read about this on the Orlando Sentinels website. I feel bad for her, but you should pay attention to the warnings. But, you can enjoy other Space theme things in Tomorrowland or go to DHS for Star Tours. :)

I doubt Hydration was an issue with this one. This apparently happened shortly before 8:30 this morning, and it wasn't hot in Orlando at all. I was at the Downtown Disney this morning it didn't get warm until much later.

I work there. I don't know the details of what happened but I can say the people ride all the time who should not. Even though it isn't fast or have tall drops, its a rough jerky ride and people come off injured because if preexisting conditions. Even pregnant ladies ride, which scares us all who work there, but we can't say no. In fact the only reason we can not let someone ride is because of hight. The coaster is kept in top shape and there is never anything found wrong with the ride.

So listen to Robert, if you have the slightest hesitation of riding the ride, don't ride it. Even if you have ridden it before, if you are feeling sick, extremely tired or overly anxious, please don't ride.

Space Mountain reopenned today ..at Openning time with thet park. Inpection found no issues with the ride.

I was at Knott's Berry Farm years ago on the same day a woman died on Montezuma's Revenge. She received a brain aneurysm from the ride but I'd hardly blame the ride. The ride posts warnings and its up to people to know their own conditions. In same cases, you have no idea that you have a condition until it becomes fatal. In cases like this, it's not the ride's fault nor would the rider have ever known they had one. I hate to be so dismissive but let's face it.... These things happen. That's about all you can really say, unless you're an attorney who smells money and deep pockets.

Can't stand Space mountain,awful ride. Throws you around way 2 much,hated every second I was on. Never ever again
