Disney owns rights to Wiggles, why did they not jump on the rights for this? Seems like a great idea that they should have had in at least MGM.

It's not unprecedented for a property to end up in different companies' theme parks in different markets. Look at the Nickelodeon characters, which are in Universal parks in SoCal and Orlando, and the (now former) Paramount Parks elsewhere. So maybe there's still a chance for the Wiggles at Disney.

I don't think that Disney owns the "rights" to the Wiggles. They MAY own the US broadcast rights, but nothing else. The Wiggles touring company is in no way associated with Disney and their videos are NOT distributed or produced in ANY way or related in ANY way to Disney.
They are a good fit for the Disney Channel's Playhouse Disney, but probably not for the Disney parks. Disney has never put anything in their parks that they don't own a large portion of.
