Published: June 28, 2011 at 8:18 PMDidn't it used to be more Southern themed? I remember it used to be a favorite of my family, but it kinda fell off the radar about 10 years ago.
Maybe there is another visit for the Murphy family.
Published: June 29, 2011 at 2:30 AMThe food, when we ate there, it was fairly good without being outstanding. The service was acceptable without being memorable. The view, which is it's big selling point, was obscured by people standing outside on the verandah.......some without actually having eaten there.
Published: June 29, 2011 at 6:40 AMI've eaten there twice and neither time was memorable. Well not memorable for the food anyway. I remember not really being able to see the fireworks and the guests next to me kicking their lobster under the table....
Glad to hear that the menu has changed. We might add it to our list for our fall visit.
Published: June 29, 2011 at 7:23 AMI had the snapper whole fried and it was fantastic. I had been a fan of the restaurant for years but it had fallen off the quality map. From my expereince it is back with a vengance and I will have it on my lis to fplaces to go during my next trip.
Published: June 29, 2011 at 7:34 AMI wasn't impressed from looking at the photos. The appetizers are downright skimpy. They are individual portions. They are not enough to share, which should be the point of them.
The salad? Oh well.
The main dish? Looks better, but barely any sauce. The pairing of the tuna and the prawn is awkward. It doesn't look cohesive.
