I wonder if they got Vincent Chase to be in this... Bonus points for anyone who gets the reference.

The Matterhorn was inspired by a Disney film, "Third Man on the Mountain" or something like that. Disney saw the mountain in person during filming and decided he wanted to build it for himself. I think too many people were poisoned of the idea of a ride to film adaptation after HM with Eddie Murphy, but I think if a good budget and skilled writers and film makers work on these projects, they can be gold.

It will be a fictional biography about the rise of Michael Jordan from humble beginnings as a teenage theme park employee. During his off hours, he sharpened his basketball skills against coworkers on the court inside the Matterhorn and eventually gained enough confidence to play at a higher level.

I was expecting a Kingdom Keepers movie, but Matterhorn and the other two that are in the works sound cool. Search "Tim Babb" on YouTube, and you'll see that he's made a few fake trailers based on Disneyland rides, such as the Jungle Cruise, the Matterhorn, and even "Park Bench". ;)

BTW, I'm not Tim Babb.

Inspired by an untrue story, a group of climbers find themselves trapped on a mountain as it closes for refurbishment for six months, resorting to cannibalism for survival.

The movie should be called "Brokeback Mountain" The story of what happened when the Abominable Snowman met the Yeti.

Daniel, +1. Anthony, I think you're describing "Expedition Everest: The Yeti Returns."

Clearly, "Expedition Everest: The Yeti Returns" is in development hell.
